Default Can I run stock shocks on a two inch spacer lift?

Just got off the phone with the guys at 4WD Parts here in Indy and they told me I can't effectively run stock shocks with a two inch spacer lift. I am planning on doing new shocks just not in the budget at the minute so I would like to run the factory shocks on my 2012 two door for a little while longer, anyone see any real problem with this? Anyone doing it now? The man at the store said I will pop them out when I flex the suspension, anyone agree or is he a shock salesman looking for a sale?

should be fine, if your really concerned you can always pick up some shock extension brackets for cheap. the shocks will not pop out w/ that lil bit of lift but not having longer shocks will limit your new suspension travel...

I lifted mine 2" rear and 3" front with stocks. Lasted me over a year and finally overextend one of the rears and broke it on a trail. So yes.. For daily driving it's fine.. For trails.. Just be cautious of over extending.

1000's of people run spacer lifts with stock shocks. Your springs won't pop out unless your shocks are too long. Do the spacers then do shocks when yo can afford it.

No prob. Did it for 2 years no problems, only limited suspension travel a little.
