Default Exhaust: better sound and performance...

Newbie here looking for the same impact on my '13 JKU that putting dual exhaust (flowmasters) had on my V8 F150.... in deeper throaty sound... ( I also did the CAI and Chip at the same time... My truck definitely sounds and feels a lot stronger w/ slight MPG gain)

should I go that same route... are there other alternatives with same/greater results... Thx!

It is tough to get the V8 sound with a 6 cylinder. One thing to consider is when getting a new muffler or exhaust system is to do a relocate. Some guys will do just a muffler in front of the rear axle. A popular muffler to use is P/N 17263.
Some will replace the whole system. On my 2013 JKU I went with our "rock crawler" system. People often what is under the hood, I tell them a K&N and our exhaust system.

Dynomax® Performance Exhaust | 2012 JEEP Wrangler 4 Door 3.6L V6: Single - 2.5" Cat-Back system, 4" Polished Stainless Steel Tip, Ultra Flo Polished Muffler

Good luck in your search. What ever you do, save your stock system.
One thing about us is our 90 day Sound/Performance Guarantee if you aren't happy return for a refund.

I have that dynomax exhaust on my '12 and dumps before the axle. I love it! Sounds great.

I am thinking about changing out my hangers and converting my system into this system. I would keep my old pipe around too. I had to modify mine because, rocks....

Dynomax was one of my choices, but I ended up going with MBRP 3in cat back exhaust. Deleted the secondary muffler before the axle, a smaller muffler behind the axle so it will be very hard to hit it when wheeling. You should have seen my face when I turned the key for the first time with it on. I really like it. Not annoying but cruising I can definitely hear it. As for performance and MPG you won't see a ton, but more throttle response and a slight mpg gain ( if you can keep your foot off the pedal ) good luck with whatever you do!
