I am wanting to make one for my 2-door and have scoured the forum for pics, but I only seem to find ones for 4-doors.

Both JK & JKU owners post all you got. I need design ideals for making one.

Also... has anyone made a shelf/deck that covered the whole area that is available when the rear seat is folded up against the front seats.... and has a section that can fold away so that the rear seat can be unfolded and used? Basically I want the best of both worlds. A full storage area and to use the back seat. Just not at the same time.

 

What I did is, I took out my back seat and bought a lockable truck box from Sears for $ 45.00 and drilled holes in the sides and used two u-bolts to hold it in place, using the brackets the rear seat locks in. it fits perfect between them and I can take the box out in 2 minutes and put my seat in if I need too. The box is 30" x 13" and 14" high ,it looks great and I can lock my stuff up. I hope this helps you
