I tried it on the Jeep emblem after plastidipping my grill, and it did not come out good. I ended up pulling the plastidip off of the emblem and reapplying, leaving it black.

I was able to spray on top of plasti-dip. Did a light coat of primer on top of plasti-dip, then painted A/C rings on interior of my jeep. Worked good, just go light on each coat of paint.

The Plasti-dip guys did a video on this, short answer: Yes

Longer answer: If you have good coverage of the plastidip then paint over it, you will still be able to pull off the plasti dip; but, the paint makes it harder, and therefor it tends to crack and break off (when being pulled for removal) rather than just peeling right off.

If you want to spray the jeep emblem either sand it down or if you're good with a can skip that step and spray it.
