Default Changing stock tires on a 2013 S

Hello all. I have a stock S. I would like to upgrade to 285/70/17 tires. Some say they will rub, some say they wont. I will be driving 99% on road and I was looking for the real answer. Thanks!

They will rub at a full turn. There bunch of threads about it on JKF.

If you don't want them to rub at full lock, you have two choices:
1. Spacers (like Spidertrax)
2. Wheels with a backspacing of 5" or less

I believe I have read that you can adjust the steering stops by adding a few washers and that may be another option
