Turning regular sway bar links into quick diconnects for $50
I installed a Teraflex 2" leveling kit in my 2013 JKU Sport. It came with long sway bar links. I just purchased the Teraflex quick disconnect bolts (Part number QD4 on their website; $50 with shipping.) for the lower part of the link. The bolt attaches to the axle. I have some notes that I would like to pass on about the install:
1. Buy 1/2" lock nuts to attach the bolt to the axle. I think they are 1/2" - 20's. Need 2. I had to buy hitch pins as retaining pins. Also, Teraflex recommended lock tight on the quick disconnect bolt threads..
2. You have to remove a bushing inside the lower part of the sway bar link to fight the quick disconnect bolt. I used a slightly larger bolt as a punch and a 10 lbs sledge hammer to slowly tap it out. It was in there pretty tight.
3. grease the bolt and the inside of the link to make it easier to slide in.
I'm going down to San Diego county near the border to hit some trails next weekend, these should make it a lot easier to get on the trails.

I have the same parts on the bench to do mine. A tip I would give you is to order the brackets that hold them up when disconnected as well if you didn't. That ways you don't have to zip tie them up everytime.

The ones I have are from Teraflex and there is a bushing that has to removed to go from the stock bolt to the quick disconnect bolt. The part of the quick disco bolts that goes through the link is 3/4". I just looked at the stock links that I took off and it looks like it would work if you can get the bushing out; the stock one looked like a pain to take out.
Teraflex sells a top and bottome quick disconnect bolt. This one is the QD4.

I know the brackets that you are talking about. I found them after I had bought the bolts. I can't find them on the site as a stand alone part, but I plan on calling Teraflex next week about getting some. I usually flip the link along the sway bar then use a couple of medium zip ties to tie it to the sway bar. Then either a long velcro strap or a couple of large zip ties to secure the who thing to the frame through that large hole next to it.
