Default Lift Opinion... TeraFlex or RC? How is truest on 2.5"

So Im looking at adding a coil lift and dumping the spacers this winter.
I'd like to keep it at $500 .....so here is where Im at.
$500 can get me 3.5" RC complete lift

$350ish can get me 2.5" complete lift

$450ish can get me TeraFlex springs

I already have shock and brake extensions, so I can always add new shocks for the Teraflex springs in the future.
But I want a coil lift that is true to the advertise height or at least closest.

Jeep specs: 2012 Auto, JKU Sport, Ace Stubby, Ebay Rear bumper/tire carrier, 35s with full spare, and looking to add Jerry cans, cargo basket, and a winch, not planning on no major under armor.

The Jeep is a weekend driver and vacation mobile. Off roading is mainly trails like Gemini Bridges and Schafer's Trail. Dont really wheel it when at home. Would like to set up more for Overland than Rock crawler

I have the TF 2.5 coil on a 4dr. I picked it up for about $700 with shocks (5100's) so you can definitely get a complete kit for $500 if you look around. I got pretty close to 2.5 even slightly more but I didn't have much weight on my rig when I lifted it. I've since added bumpers and a winch so had to add spacers to get back to where it was. I would however suggest a front adjustable track bar. The kit comes with a rear re-locate bracket as well. Overall very happy with my TeraFlex lift.

Was the front track bar hard to line up and how did it drive prior to the adjustable TB?

No it's pretty straight forward. The jeep will drive fine but the front axle will be off center. Mine was out by roughly 1.25-1.5" before I put the adjustable on.

From what I've heard rough country is just that, rough. Don't really think you can beat the teraflex 2.5 coil

At over 200 lb.ft/in, those TF Coils are to much for my liking with only a stubby up front.

I have the RC 2.5(got about 3.5" at first, about 3" after a year) complete kit and its not as rough as people say. It rides better than stock too me, but if i were you i would get the one without shocks and get some 5100s. 5100s made a huge difference. If you go with 35s or larger youll most likely rub(i do bad when flexing) but you can get flatties to solve that or extended bump stops.

I had the rough country 2.5 for 1 1/2 years and it rode great. Then I started getting the holy bouncy swerve thing when I would hit train tracks. I bought a teraflex lift and thier LCA's and front adjustable track bar and my jeep rides very very nice now.

In hind sight, I think my springs from rough country were just fine and my real issue was not having LCAs or the beefier adjustable front track bar. I also think the bilstien 5100's are much better than the rough country 2.2 shocks I was running.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have just kept my rough country springs and upgraded my shocks, LCA's, and front track bar and saved myself the cost of the teraflex springs.

Good luck.
