with what appears to be a 2.5 Rough Country lift. At the above RPM I am having a vibration type noise, and it only happens at that rpm . Does anyone know what may be causing this? Mods are as follows(from what I see): 2.5 rough country suspension lift, RC dual stabilizers for steering, Mickey Thompson 33's (Baja). Rear stabilizer bar.

Other than the maintanence I performed, replacing all brakes and ebrake, and replacement of u-joints up front, nothing else I see has been changed or modified. Any help would greatly appreciated!

The only rpm related rattle I have had would be a heat shield on the exhaust near the transfer case. Two of the welds that held the shield to the exhaust pipe broke and it would rattle badly at about 2000 rpm. I just put a hose clamp around it and that fixed it.

And if I remember right the rpm range that the noise would be heard would change depending on the engine load. Mainly happened at 2000 under acceleration but could be up to 3000 rpm.

What should I look for when it comes to driveshafts? I checked the angle to the front axle and it measured 4-5°

Unlikely that it is the driveshaft as there speed increase as the jeeps speed increases. If rpm related it may be a heat shield or issue in trans if auto.

Im with Josh on this one. I currently have the same exact vibration sound. Mine is just a heat shield on the drivers side.
