Default Ball joint replacment cost

What has everyone been paying to get their factory ball joints swapped out?

I am getting quoted $180 for synergy HD ball joints, the 4-5 hours of labor, so around $550 out the door.

550 for ball joints and the install? Hell why are you asking? Lol that's a good price. Personally it's not a hard job, just requires a lot of brute force to get the synergys in.

Btw, research the ball joint break in period with these. The first hundred to thousand miles are pretty sketchy.

Just curious, that's all. The shop I use is very trustworthy and has always treated me fair, so my assumption was that it was a good, fair price. Good to know that you think it is a steal!

Yeah that price is great, I paid 210 for the ball joints and installed myself but if I were to get them done near me it would have been around 600 in labor.

I paid 200 for the ball joints and 70 for the tool to remove them and press the new ones in. It was not that hard to do.

It would be a good idea if they just did all of them on both sides while they were at it sister. It will save you money in labor down the road. It's just a matter of time before the other side goes

Do it yourself and save the money if you have the time! I'm a skinny weak 17 Year old and I put my synergys in in about 5-6 hours. Nothing to complicated at all
