Default Spare tire options

Would a 255/85/16 tire fit on the spare tire mount on the jk. I just put new wheels and tires on and I prefer not to have to spend the extra $550 for a pretty spare.

I don't see why not, I ran a 285/17 for a while before I got a new bumper/tire carrier

Just check on your tailgate hinges every once in a while

Also a great excuse for a new bumper...

That "pretty" spare could save your ass some day. What size tires are you running?

X's 2! Also if you add that spare in rotation of your other tires they will last longer.

That's what, a 33x10 tire? No issues fitting it on the stock carrier. If you go wider, you may need a spacer.

And $550 for a 33" spare tire?? How? You chose to go with some stupidly expensive rims?
