I think if they are practical for you then why not? They are different and look good.

Their cool looking but the drawback is the same as any other 2 seater truck, except the price tags what you could pay for a 4 seater diesel truck

I wish jeep would just build it from the factory and pass the savings on. I would buy one if it was not so cost prohibitive for the kit and install. Great idea just too much money for a kit.

This.

Also, I think even more than a base JK/JKU, the JK-8s look absolutely ridiculous with no lift and stock tires. Something about the bed being attached to the cab, I think. IMO, a big lift and 37s are a must to make these rigs look proportional.

agree with lonewolf. Sometimes they look awesome. Needs snorkel, lift, 35s at least. For price, you are only using functionality in terms of storage etc, but all about looks.

Saw an AEV 4 door JK-8 at dealer they were asking 87k!! for that money i think you could do anything you imagine to it.
