Thumbs up TeraFlex Swaybar Quick Disconnects [Part Number: TER1753010]

Needed some discos after installing a TeraFlex Leveling Kit. Previously I had JKS discos on both my old TJ's so I was looking for an option that would have a retainer like the old JKS did. TeraFlex discos fit the bill! Easy install of course however ran into one minor hitch, no matter how much 'negotiating' i did with the retaining pin it did NOT want to seat. Using the 10% rule, I used a grinder to eliminate the edge that was hanging up and now it slides in without an issue.

As long as you're not going to run wider than stock tires without spacers then I HIGHLY recommend these. Of course they're tight at first but I know after a while they'll loosen up and be easier to get on and off. Also, the retaining hangers are AWESOME! I, for one, was not excited about paying for discos and then still needed to use a bungee. Below is the pic with what I had to grind. Otherwise here's the link to the kit on 4wheelparts: <Link>

**Note the picture is NOT accurate as the links have a bolt built in for connecting to the swaybar.**

I lost the retpaining clip and washers from rubbing when in the stored, take off position. Id recommend using zip ties to secure in that position, if you experience the same rub.

Are you using the upper position pins for the sway bar when disconnected? I have AEV saverge wheels with 5.3 backspacing and 285 70r17 Duratracs and rubbed the drivers side link when in the stored position. Would there be a better way to tie up the sway bar and not rub?

Just so you know, you can buy the pins and retainers for about $50-$60 bucks from Teraflex and use the links from the leveling kit as the quick disconnects. They work exactly the same as the ones in the kit, but save a few bucks.

I started with these and had a lot of trouble after going to 37's. Graduated to Synergy's and should done this in the first place. Lost many a pin with the tires trashing and pulling them out when disco'ed. No such tro with the Synergy's. Much better set up due to the moveable mount when disco'ed

Zip ties is the best way to ensure that you keep the washers and pins. Id steer you in a different direction if not too late. I rubbed with 33s w 4.5 backspacing. Look at the jks setup.

Im literally just about to start installing this Teraflex kit on my jku that already has the leveling kit links installed. One question......Can you explain where each washer goes?. lets call them big, medium and small. It looks pretyy obvious where the big one goes. Thanks!
