Default Finally got my Jeep home from the shop...sort of!

well everything is done on the Jeep, except for the drive shafts...

there is a local guy who builds lots of off road competition trucks/Jeeps

he's making me custom drive shafts out of thick walled chromoly steel

he's really busy but he literally across the street from the end of my street, so i think he'll have time to squeeze me in next week

i still can't get over how great my Jeep came out and how well the build went...

i filmed every minute of it using a gopro camera that took a still picture every 5 seconds

so i have footage of the jeep pulling in and all the axles and such being removed and then after lunch on the very first day, they put in the Dynatrac Pro Rock D44 and the Pro Rock D60 in the rear

all total it took them like 3.5 days for everything, including a last minute bumper change for clearance up front, and an upgrade to braided stainless steel brake lines

Here is the original straight home from the dealer shot...

and here is the as it sits right now shot...

Looking good.

Are you kicking yourself for not going with the Stubby to begin with?

What gearing did you go with?

The first picture was from when I brought it home new from the dealership a couple of years ago...

A bunch of medium sized mods but this last one was pretty big

Just a before and waayy after picture

Other than swapping the motto out there isn't much else I could do other than maybe stretch it?

I'm pretty damn happy right now, just wish the drive shafts had been arranged better/sooner

I would have saved myself a bunch of $, but I wouldn't have done the stinger before, I personally didn't think it was up to the level of a stinger with just 33's etc

But with with 37's, a winch and a 4" lift I think the stinger looks right at home

I jumped from 3:21 to 5:13's
