Default Springs to actual height

So I just installed four inch skyjacker coils on my 2012 four door jk. After the install I was disappointed; it looks like all I got in height was an inch or two max. I took measurements before and after (that is how I know). The question I have is this common? I am looking for any advice or suggestions as this would be greatly appreciated.

No, that is not typical. If you've got a bunch of weight on the jeep then you may see .5-1" less than advertised but typically the lifts are spot on or even higher than advertised.

Can you use a spacer on top of the coil without the isolator?

Did you add additional weight when you lifted it? Most springs I have used actually netted more lift than advertised initially, then settled some.

I removed a teraflex 2.5 and that gave me that height. Theses skyjackers dis not and for weight front bumper is light and I have a ebay tire carrier that does way some.

So are you saying you got an additional inch over the height you had with the Teraflex 2.5" kit?
