Default Noises after installing Rough Country 2.5" spacer lift

A few weeks ago I installed a 2.5" Rough Country Series II spacer lift on my 2014 wrangler. Everything appeared to have gone well, I ended up not installing the trackbar relocation bracket due to reading some horror stories from people having problems getting it back together. I took the stock sway bar links from the rear, moved them to the front, and used the new RC in the rear. Back to my problem, when I pull in or out of my driveway, there is a small curb at the end of my driveway, and I'm hearing some disturbing noises when I drive over it at anything faster than a slow roll. As I go over the curb, I hear a metal on metal sound as each tire goes over the curb. For normal driving, the feel is near stock. I don't see any signs of rubbing. The other thing that I read about doing, but have not yet done is to loosen all control arms and trackbar and give it a good shake while on the ground. I hope to put some time into it this weekend, but I'd like a plan before doing so. I'm looking for some suggestions.

A lot of people have issues with the sway bar link rubbing. You could alway drive up the curb and stop when you hear the noise. Climb under and look for metal to metal contact.

have a buddy rock the jeep as you listen for the noise....does your rear axle appear to be off center without using the tb bracket?

I am no expert. At all. Barely a noob. But I do a lot of research before I do anything.

You need to put a track bar relocation bracket on the rear. Without it, the angle of your rear track bar will be too steep, and your axel will no longer be centered (left to right) with the body.

If you are worried about the RC bracket, get one from TeraFlex.

Check the inside of the tire we just installed a 2.5 coil lift on my jeep and the rear links are very close of the tire and wheels so we added spacers in the back

Jeepin on a budget!

Check and make sure you installed the rear spacers correctly. I recall that you need to bolt the spacer to the frame, then re use the old rubber spring perch. I missed bolting the spacer to the frame the first time around

Either the swaybar link rubbing the wheel or track bar rubbing the coil. Does the RC kit drop the rear TB? I would raise the TB at the axle. The jeep will handles better with roll center correction.

I also put this lift on- I now have a "clunk" in the rear when I hit a bump. Installed everything by the book and used the track bar relocation bracket- everything is thought too- I'm at a stand still. I have noticed when on the ground, the track bar is centered. However, when I put it on a hoist, the axle shifts to the right and the track bar makes contact with the left tire. Any thought what might be going on? It's driving me nuts!

When the body is raised (lifted or on a lift) the track bar geometry changes and the body gets pulled to one side. I would avoid the TB frame drop bracket. Remove/run a adjustable track bar and/or a axle side raised brackets. Roll center correction helps handling and dropping the TB doesn't correct this.

Check you shock bolts. People tend not to torque the uppers and they come loose. (Ask I I know) rofl
