Head rest
Mine are in. My daughter rides back there. If you get rear ended, which is at an all time high, eh-um..... Texting drivers, a persons neck has a greater chance at breaking. Mine are staying. I would hate to gamble on vanity vs. safety.......
For many it is a safety issue to remove them ( improved visibility). Wish mine came out easily. About 1 in a 1000 trips someone sits in my rear seat. 1 in 1 I use the rear view mirror. 1:1000 plus the odds of someone actually hitting me in the rear is stupid-low. I hate "safety" for stupid-low odds.

I'm with this guy on the safety piece. There really isn't a view back there anyway because of the rear tire, wiper motor box, etc. I pull through parking spaces or back in whenever I can and use the side mirrors to guide me. It's just like driving a box truck.
