Default Head rest

For y'all that have 2 door JK's do you keep your backseat head rest in? Do your passengers notice if they're gone? Thanks y'all!

Mine are in. My daughter rides back there. If you get rear ended, which is at an all time high, eh-um..... Texting drivers, a persons neck has a greater chance at breaking. Mine are staying. I would hate to gamble on vanity vs. safety.......

For many it is a safety issue to remove them ( improved visibility). Wish mine came out easily. About 1 in a 1000 trips someone sits in my rear seat. 1 in 1 I use the rear view mirror. 1:1000 plus the odds of someone actually hitting me in the rear is stupid-low. I hate "safety" for stupid-low odds.

hey, if you have no one back there, good on ya. I deal with rear viz being limited as my little one is there every day.

I'm with this guy on the safety piece. There really isn't a view back there anyway because of the rear tire, wiper motor box, etc. I pull through parking spaces or back in whenever I can and use the side mirrors to guide me. It's just like driving a box truck.

On the shelf as well... No one rides back there. Thought about just taking the seat out.

I dont have passengers, but I removed both from the back bench and the one from the passenger seat. The driver's seat one was extremely awkward so i turned it around.
