How difficult is it to remove the factory front bumper assembly on a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited?

Very easy. 15 minutes with a ratchet and remove a few plastic clips

It really takes no time. You need a deep 18mm socket for ease and ratchet.

1. Unplug fog lights and pull wire harness free from bumper.

2. With the deep 18 undo the eight nuts and slide off.

This of course is after you undo the plastic stuff.

A 16mm will separate the plastic bumper from the metal sub bumper

Here are the pics. Bumper is dirty as I took it off and set it aside. Not to mention, been too cold to get a hose to work here in CO! Generally speaking, it's off of my 2012 with 23k miles. Garage kept. The little bit of dirt on the back side is from my last run in the mountains about a month ago.
