Default What should be next? rebuild axles or tires?

I am currently getting a rubicon express 3.5" lift full arms (short) and everything for it. My list is huge but currently I am running 33s and I do want to go to 37s after the lift. Should i build a front dana44 and and work on my rear axle then tires (there will be some distance in time between purchases for savings sake) or should i do tires and hope my 30 up front doesnt break before i can get it replaced? I go offroading twice or so a month and I do like to push my rig, I understand that a dana 30 and 37s wont work to well and I would need to baby it if i go tires first.

I understand a lot of people have different opinions on this and I want to hear both sides so I can choose myself but I honestly have no clue what should happen first

Since it sounds like cash is a factor would you have the funds to repair a broken axle? If the answer is no then I would say work on building your axles first. That said there are probably more people running 37's on 30's than all other axles combined, some have run that combination for years with no problems and have not done a single upgrade. But you could also be the guy who ends up broken in the middle of nowhere. Comes down to risk tolerance.

Axles first, then tires. Why break parts and replace them when you could just save that money towards the axle? You should be fine upgrading the front axle, then 37s, then rear axle.

Upgrading first will put an ease to your mind knowing you won't be out in the middle of no where with a broken axle or out with a bunch of friends and ruin the trip due to your axle breaking. Don't be that guy.

Take a look at this thread https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...a-44-a-291227/

understandable, and thanks for the link, will read it

edit: my offroading is mainly at hollister hills which if you have never heard of it, it is more of a offroading park than trail so help is around every corner and i have family very close in the area. And if my 30 breaks, i will upgrade it then, mainly due to having an extra car to use if I have to wait.

37s would look so cool.... you could even start posting pics in the "37 club" thread!

Man... that would be bad ass! Do it... don't be a pussy! Girls drive Jeeps with tires that aren't 37" tall!

Reading your OP, I see you already know the answer to your question.

My question to you then is.... what are you trying to accomplish with this thread?

Im making sure I didnt miss anything, im brand new into jeeps and maybe there was something i forgot to think about. Im not too worried about being "that guy" but I also dont want to risk un reliability in the vehicle itself. like would running 37s on a dana 30 do something to the long term effect of the engine and stuff (realizing i should have asked these but i was in the middle of studying for finals when i wrote this).

You wouldn't be the first.

Your jeep will be fine with 37's on the D30 just be mindful that its not ideal.
