Default Can you guys tell what I have?

I bought a Jeep last weekend. The dealer said it was a 2" lift kit by Mopar with Billstein Shocks. The coil has Mopar written on it. Is this kit a real lift kit or is just new shocks hat gives it another 2" in height. I am running 285/70r17 tires. I have attached some pics.Click image for larger version

shocks do nothing for lift height... There probably correct if the coil says mopar. Dealers out in wisconsin where i was from used skyjacker...

They deffinately used a kit as theres bumpstops and brakeline relocation brackets and a trackbar bracket.

Looks like the mopar lift to me. I believe it is made by Teraflex, but stamped mopar. I remember seeing a thread a while back about that.

Thanks again for the info. When I bought this Jeep, it didn't have anything on the window explaining the lift. Honestly I don't even know if it is a 2" lift. I'm assuming it is 2" from doing the math. The dealer was suppose to provide me with the paperwork on the accessories the following day but says they can't find anything now. Anyways if there is anything you guys can point out about this Jeep then by all means, I'm here to learn. If there are any pics under the carriage you need me to take just let me know.

Thanks again everyone for your help.

Dave

This will allow you to figure out how much lift you netted.

Thx Maertz, I will measure it this weekend. And last question, does it matter if mine is just a Sports trim? Do Rubicon, Sahara and Sports trim have the same height. I will start going through all the suspension threads on this forum.

I think there all the same, i know ive heard rubis had an ever so slight ammount more lift, but i dont recall how true it was. The chart will get you damn close, but chrysler made a few different coil numbers that would change that very slightly.
