Default Considering lift (OME) front and spacers in rear.. Bad Idea?

Hi all. New to the forum and trying to learn..

I have a 13 JK unlimited Oscar Mike. I don't have enough for the full lift and tires..(currently)
So, I am considering building it up in phases.
I have the 17AB or AC springs in front and 59AB or AC in rear. I put an aftermarket bumper on it and noticed a bit of sag so I want to raise it. Not big off roader as of yet.

I am considering Installing the OME 2 inch HD Coils and Nitrocharger Sport Shocks in the front to lift it and maybe a 1.75 or 1 inch coil spacer in the rear since I have a ton of room in there. I want to fit 35s in there and eventually a replacement rear bumper. Funds are limited so savings would go towards tires.

Is this a bad idea? or would it be ok to start? Total would be about 475 bucks..

Thanks

My opinion is that you should just wait and save up for the lift/tires you really want instead of temporary fixes or a little at a time. A little sag for a while wont hurt, especially if you don't offroad like crazy. I did this alot with my first Jeep and i ended up spending so much time doing and re-doing and re-doing again (I assume your going to do the labor yourself)

Do lots of research to figure out what direction you really want to go - it will save you money in the long run.

I would do the work myself and the rear spacers are only 80 bucks, if that matters.
thanks

Have you considered just buying pucks/spacers or the front. That would fix the sag. You could also buy the Teraflex leveling kit for around $130 and that would give you a little lift and level out your jeep.

I have, but I think I'll be limiting myself to 33s. Most guys have been getting 2.5 plus on the OME hd springs. This will will just get me started and all I'll have to replace is the rear pucks when I eventually do the rear.. At least that is what I'm thinking if I do go this route... Thanks

You're not saving much with spacers in the rear. Just get OME coils all the way around. Northridge looks like $330 shipped, for all 4 coils.

You want your springs to match.

seems like a good plan. I read how bad the stock springs are so why not go with better quality springs up front. Sounds like you mostly want it to look better but it would be a bonus to get a better ride at the same time.

The ACOS is very nice but JKs has gotten crazy with their pricing. As for the OP your plan is fine in doing coils up front and adding a spacer in the rear. I unless you have a real heavy bumper and winch I would do the no load coils up front as the HD coils give 3"+ of added height.

Thanks for the info, if I do get OME rear coils and shocks and rear track bar relocation bracket, will I have to modify the exhaust since it may push me to 3+ inches till I install my rear bumper?

Don't want to screw anything else up taking shortcuts...
