Default new Gobi rack and a new vibration in my pedals?

I just finished installing a Gobi rack on my 2012 JKU and now I'm getting this very noticeable vibration in my pedals and floor pans around 35-45mph. The vehicle was fine before, and I did nothing except install the rack. Can anyone tell me if this might not be from the rack and I should be worried? The rack is nice and tight, nothing loose in the slightest.

Thanks folks.

I can't tell from your pics but do you have rubber/plastic bump stops installed between the rack and your windscreen?
They may help if they keep the rack more rigid during driving.
A common way to do this if you don't have them already is to use the tailgate tyre bump stops from daystar.

Looks like they are on there at the top of the a pillar. The only thing that seems like it could cause that from the gobi rack is the attachment to the frame on the rear. Everything else should be noticeably higher.

I have the bump stops on, I'll try tightening them up a little. I tried getting my tires rebalanced, just got um a week ago, and while one was out of balance, it did not stop the vibrations. I can't think of anything else that would be strictly speed related. If the rack were vibrating so much at 35mph, I would expect the same if not more at higher speeds, but it disappears at around 45mph.

This is disappointing. This seems like the best overall rack out there, but I've seen a few posts lately about vibration and noise. That's the last thing I need. Been a jeep guy for over half my life, but I still can't stand the little noises, rattles and squeaks!

My guess is your fairing isn't adjusted properly. If not, it can catch air and cause your rack to wobble. Just look out your mirrors as you hit the 35-45 zone you are experiencing. Same happens if you load a bunch of 12' 2x4s on your rack. I've got 60k miles with my Gobi and zero vibrations. Maybe the added weight is amplifying another issue?

Arjeeper, I've yet to encounter someone disappointed with their Gobi rack.

@LifeOfABombTech was this ever resolved?

I'm having the same issue with a 2013 2dr Moab. Just installed a Gobi Stealth rack with upper isolators but no wind deflector. I get persistent vibration in wheel wells and in rear view mirror at speeds above 60/65 mph. Below 60 mph I don’t experience this vibration. Tires are balanced.

I've spoken to Gobi a few times and they've been unable to resolve.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
