Default Couple of questions: 2012 JK pinch seam and exhaust

Hey guys: I'm running a 4" ProComp lift on 37" Trail Grapplers which are scrubbing. I want to try trimming my pinch seam more (if possible) to see if that will help. As it sits, there is only about an inch or so of space between the tire and the seam. Can someone tell how much more I could safely take off of the pinch seam?

Also, is anyone running a Flowmaster 40 series on their 3.6L? I'm looking for a deeper exhaust and am curious how this would sound. I don't want my Jeep to sound like a pissed off bumblebee.

This is how much I took off (37s on 4" lift). Works great now and I did not have to mess with the bump stop. It's got undercoating on there right now (did it right before a trip), but will touch it up with JB Weld when I get back. Can't see, but seam was also trimmed up about 12 inches into the wheel well...

I run a magna flow muffler and have been super happy. It's not too deep, but definitely rumbles.! I can hear it inside Jeep, but don't turn many heads. It does set off a few car alarms. I needed to relocate my muffler to make some room for a rear winch (on my to buy list). Very happy to have the muffler gone from back especially with lift... felt like it hung down and too visible... I did run the pipe all the way back... just wasn't comfortable having exhaust come out anywhere beneath the jeep.

Well guys, I trimmed them and may have taken off a little too much, I have a little seam sealer exposed at the corner. Any pointers on how to cover that?

It seems the best sounding exhaust I've heard is the corsa db while deleting the resonator.

I put some job weld in my pinch seam and it is holding up well. Just remove some of the filler, sand, add job weld, let dry and sand smooth. Then paint.

I'm running the Dynomax High flow and it definitely the deepest sound I've heard from the 3.6. No ricer sound at all. My son says it sounds like a diesel( he loves deisels ). There are several videos on you tube but they don't do justice.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to JB weld and then cover it with chassis paint.

I will also look into those exhausts! I actually looked at the Magnaflow 17143 that exits before the rear axle, that's kind of a plus, IMO.
