Default 23,000 Tire Rotation Opinion

Measured my tires today and seeing them wearing a little more than others.
Lets give them names where they are now
0.435= Spare
0.465= Front Passenger
0.480= Rear Driver
0.520= Rear Passenger
0.620= Front driver

Now I have been using this spare in tire rotation chart, but things seems not
even with 23,000 miles on my tires.

What I was thinking is putting the
0.620= Front Passenger
0.520= Front Driver
0.435= Spare

for starters then going back to the Tire Rotation Chart every 3000 miles. Would
this be a good idea?

PS: This is a thousands per inch measurement on each tire

Your front right tire sees the most wear, so that's where your front driver should go (as noted above). You're also correct to move the RP to the FD position (again, you noted above).

Seems like you've got it figured out correctly. I would 'almost' suggest running those two up front for a long enough period to get them close to the rest of them with a small disclaimer- so long as they aren't wearing funny or have balance issues.

Do you spin your tires often or note that one wheel routinely spins when off road? I notice in damp conditions that my right rear will slip- you may be experiencing the same thing.

I just rotated the tires and following that chart for 5000 mi. tire rotation until this last (3000 mi.). The guys at Discount Tire said I'd get better tire wear every 3000, so I think they noticed it as well. Maybe the chart would have worked out that way.

I do have the fronts checked for balance, except this last. Karls, think I hold out for rotation as long as the front treads (after adjustment) hold up to the rear tires.

I have the ways to measure, why not

Thanks Karls
