Default LOD Armor Lite Shorty opinions?

I'm shopping for a new front bumper and this one caught my eye:

2007-2014 Jeep Jk Armor Lite Shorty :: Front Bumpers :: 2007-2014 Jeep JK Products :: Jeep :: LoD Offroad

It's supposed to be lighter than the stock bumper (or damned close to it) and is a little wider than most stubbies. Anyone have any experience with this or opinions on it?

It was on my short list but I can't live with the bolt heads coming out the front. Also not a huge fan of the "wings" but overall I think it looks ok.

It was on my short list as well but I prefer the winch recessed so went with another bumper. Its a decent looking bumper though.

I did this one Hybrid Stubby Front Winch Bumper w/Fog Mounts for 07-13 Jeep JK Wrangler [1062] | Rough Country Suspension Systems Its very light, was easy to install let me keep the fogs and recessed the winch plus its cheap I think all told with D-ring mounts I paid like 250 or something. I have had it on about a year and no complaints.

I wanted light weight, fog cut-outs, recessed winch. Almost went with a metalcloak but this one was a bit shorter in overall length and met all the criteria.

I really like this bumper. Here it is on my rig. I switched the dring mounts out and used the ones from EVO Offroad, because they were heavier duty. As you can see, I went with the bull bar option vs the stinger.

Sorry it's a slide show.

I like the bumper but be advised the winch sits close to the grill.

Good thread if any of the RC designs interest you at all. Lots of happy customers. Usually I would be the first person to say you get what you pay for but its been great and as you can see people have added stingers and winch guards as well.

I went with the Hanson stubby stinger. Similar with the drop deck top but cleaner lines IMO. Not here yet or I would take a pic.

That looks really good - actually, I was planning on the bull bar as well (not sure why I grabbed the pic with the stinger). Did the LOD logo come on the front or did you put it on? How was the install? Also, regarding the D-ring mounts - did you need to make any modifications or did they bolt directly on?
