Default Who wants to help me build my jku? Cost is not a concern but street legal is.

I have a 2014 Rubi x 4 door. I already got the basics, winch, some led lights, smittybuild stubby bumper, and a CB. I took it out to Rausch creek on the stock 32s, fun but, I want to hit the black trails. This vehicle is "owned" by my company so it's all a tax write off to me. Let's build a JK!

Things I want to do now:
  • 3 - 3.5" coilover lift
  • 37" tires on 16-17" wheels
  • Armor for diffs and control arms, any additional armor advised will be strongly considered.
  • Tire carrier and rear bumper to match the front

Things for the future:

I was also thinking about this... http://www.superchips.com/Store/TrailDash.aspx

We'll, street legal will go out the window doing 37s... without mid flaps, extended flares , headlights above legal height, lic. Plate height., ....

Run it how you want if you get a fixit ticket then go wider flares etc.....make em easily removeable and have fun...

That's the plan. Street legal is a loose term for jeeps, no?

Hey Vape,

Why body lift? 37's fit no problem with a 3" lift and fenders. Just curious is all.

Money is no question.... no problem. Go see everyone's favorite vendor and ask for the WOG executive kit. Might want to ask for extra screw me add-on as well, you did say.... no concern.

IDK man... I don't get these threads. Why would you want someone else's dream Jeep? Would it not be more satisfying to have your own dream come true?

I'm learning about the options I have here. I have 1200 miles on my first jeep and no idea where to start other than specs. I'm looking for experienced people who have used different kits and what their pros and cons are for them.

Basically I'm a newb with ideas and I want help to make my dream jeep. I have no idea where to start or what kits are good. Sure I can spend hours researching reviews that may or may not be true. If I can get some recommendations for parts I will look at those first. If I can get a few recommendations I have a place to start searching. Especially for a 2014 that many websites can't tell you if they fit well or not.

Think ski slope, green is easy, blue is intermediate, black is hard and red is... I haven't seen the red trails. They also have competition trails.

And there is the problem in your idea.... here, you will get gobs of info that also may or may not be true. I find the internet forums (some worse than others) have a ton of people attempting to justify their own purchases and furthermore, have zero actual experience with the products they will compare and contrast to, nor do many have any real concept of the product itself. Adding the no limit option takes you into anther realm entirely with this.

You have three options here. Go with the big name brands and hope for the best, follow the advice of a internet forum filled with hearsay and sales pitches, or spend a little time researching and returning with specific questions that might help you decide.

You alsom might want to either frame your question or only pose it to guys that wheel in the same stuff you do.... certainly my dream list is different than guys that run your terrain.
