Default Anyone plasti-dip Mopar chrome packages yet?

Anyone plasti-dip Mopar chrome packages yet? Thinking about doing it to my hand me down. My wife wanted the chrome, or no Jeep. It was her daily driver since we bought it, so she got what she wanted, so at least I could use it on the weekends. At least I got a Jeep into the family. For what the chrome packages cost us when purchased, I can't come to take it off...maybe I'll plastidip all the chrome parts???? Except maybe the step bar. Anyone do it? Anyone have pics?

A kid I work with plasti-dipped his F-150 chrome and it came out pretty good. I'll have to snap some pictures of it for you tomorrow.

He did his grille, steps, bumpers, and emblems. Makes the truck look a lot better.

I think there's a lot there to plastidip and kinda random. If it were me, I'd take it off and putit on craigslist to recoup some funds. But I also despise plastidip as a permanent solution. Use paint...

If you never wanna see the Chrome again, bedline it. Cause even with numerous coats of plasti dip, u gonna get nicks, wouldn't want that shiny stuff showin thru!

Plasti diped the tail light guards and the fuel door. Bought a "ready to paint" grill off amazon took it to the local body shop and they color matched it. Going to do the mirrors if I can't find anyone to trade or sell me a set.

In all honestly NOBODY wants chrome. I had the same package off the lot minus the grill. You will not recoop very much. I bought factory black running boards to replace the chrome.

X's 2! I used Rustoleum spray bedliner on the chrome gas lid and tail light guards because like I stated above NOBODY wants chrome. I have to recoat mine and would at least suggest coarser sandpaper than what they recommend. Plastidip is alright until you get a little gas on the lid.
