Mopar/Chrysler or third party extended warranty (warranty solution)?
Hi guys!
Last week I bought my Certified Pre Owened jeep from a jeep dealer and got the extended warranty but at the time I didn't know it was a third party warranty called Warranty solution (I got the 5 stars coverage). I'm debating whether to cancel it and get the Chrysler / Mopar extended warranty. My dealer is ok to make the switch at no additional cost. I would love to have some insights before making my decision.
1- which one would be better and why?
2- how much did you pay for your Chrysler extended warranty if you don't mind sharing? I pay 3k for that warranty solution 5star coverage and would like to know if there is a price difference between that one and the Chrysler one.
Thanks for any help!

I bought the Chrysler one for $2300, Lifetime.
After talking with the dealer service manager, it seemed to cover more things and any dealer would honor it, no phone calls to ask where to take it.
Plus, my dealer is mod friendly and the warranty wouldn't be hassled by a lift or winch.
There are way too many electronic parts on the new JK's to not have something.

Get Chryslers extended warranty, ive read nothing but bad reviews on third party warranty companies. Normally they have to send out their own incompetent techs to determined if covered under warranty and its a total PITA, much easier just dealing with the dealership
I have the Lifetime added care plus (cost me about $2200 tacked onto loan) and the repairs that have been done to my Jeep would of cost me about 3k all together but only had to pay 200-300 for the deductibles ($100 ded per VISIT) Great idea IMO if you plan on keeping the Jeep for a while and dont plan on doing any crazy upgrades

My 7 year mopar extended bumper to bumper/powertrain warranty expires in April. Cost around $2200 or so. Only saved me a couple hundred bucks on a balljoint repair but I did feel comfortable knowing the jeep was under warranty for a while after purchasing.
