Yes ive been carrying a 33X12.50 MTZ on mine for more than 3 years now. No problems. I have since added a caster on top of my hitch to make sure it can't drop more than 1/8 inch and if it does I can catch it soon. Hope this helps!

Add some Daystar bump stops to ensure it doesn't rattle and cause problems.

hate to argue this but
if you look through enough posts youl see that the truth is the carrier that comes with the wrangler dosent realy qualify to carry the 32 that's comes on a jeep unless its the 225s but you run a risk of messing your tail gait up and destroying it costing you about 1500 to repair it and then the cost of the tire carrier on top of the repair ! don't just take my word for it . read up and you decide what chance your willing to take but if the door beads crack youl get a rattle and then you can examine the damages and explore the costs ! I just said frig it gonna have to get it on there right the first time or fab was my choice not fun not cheap but not worth risking in my op
The manual says the max including the tire is 50lbs but a Rubicon wheel and tire is around 75lbs?
