Default Yet another stubby bumper thread. Hopefully y'all can help me.

Ok, I apologize for another bumper thread but I'm so crossed on which to get. Money of course an issue as it is with 90% of us so that plays a factor I have it narrowed down. Now I'm just hoping to see more pictures of the bumpers I'm interested in.

Pictures I'm looking for:

how recessed/low is the bumper?
How far does the bumper sit away from the grill? (The less the better)
How far does the bull bar/stinger extend past the bumper?

Ok now the bumpers I'm looking into.. (Suggestions are also appreciated as well)

1: ARB stubby
2: ace engineering stubby with 2row 20" light provision
3: jcr
4: PSC brawler

Thank you in advance!

It's such a beaten to death thread topic, no one wants to jump on the bandwagon...pictures won't really do you justice anyway. Go with whatever makes you all giggly inside, and don't make it about money. Those are always the biggest regrets.

I like the jcr and PSC. Just google both and there are tons of images. The PSC brawler doesn't sink down into the bumper. Jcr has a bumper with that option.

Hey man it's been a while

I've got the PSC and it's top notch but you also may want to look at LOD as well.

I attached some pics but thats because I miss my Jeep so any chance to look at it makes me happy.

There are two JCR stubbies available right now.

The JCR Dagger. It has fog lights but the winch is not recessed, (it does have a raise fairlead plate to give a finished look though). I just installed this one.

JCR also just created the Mauler bumper... it has a recessed winch mount but has no fog lights.

Just go with the your gut. If you make a decision based on cost you will regret it.

Only thing I can suggest is to make sure and look at the installation instructions. You may not want to cut, grind or drill what is needed for a particular bumper choice.

Did you have to cut your frame at all for the PSC?

The Rock Brawler and Brawler Light bumpers I don't believe you have to cut anything. The BFH series bumpers require some cutting.
