Default Rubicon X Thread

Well I have been jeep-less for 12 months and couldn't stand it anymore. My last Jeep I bought when I was turning 20 in 1994. It was a YJ Base S, 4 Cylinder Model that served me good for 19 years, until selling it for parts last January. Today almost 20 years to the day I ordered a JKURX in Granite. I hope to receive it before May as my dealer told me today the Rubi X is on restriction for the moment. Must be all the Willys Wheelers being mfg right now. Anyway... I'm completely stoked and looking forward to the new Jeep this spring. (Didn't want to get it full of Ohio salt anyway).

I have been looking for an Rubi X or a Granite color Jeep since October... I'm pretty sure mine will be the first in my County. My dealer has never seen one either. Pretty excited! Thanks to this forum for all the information and pictures, it was very helpful in my decision. Now it's a waiting game.

Ordered 2/4/14 JKURX
Granite
Automatic
4.10 gears
Hardtop
Max tow
Side airbags
Air with electronic control
430N
Remote start
Even threw in smokers group for good measure!

Looking forward to delivery! Any recommendations on a good leveling kit? I hate the rake of the JKU's. Not really interested in lifting and messing with a perfectly good suspension on at 40,000 vehicle right now. Planning on Argent Pintlers and 285/70/17 Duratracs for my first mod. That's probably all for a while. The granite color should be cool... Although I have never seen a wrangler in that color yet!

I just put a tf leveling kit on my 14 rubicon until I can decide on a lift. Yeah, the rake has to go.

I think it was like 139 shipped from NR

Thanks for the info. Did you install a coil or spacer type?
