Default A/C Not Turning On!

So I got into my jeep earlier this morning, 60-65 degrees and tried to turn the air on and nothing happened. I can hear the a/c compressor kick on but nothing comes out of the vents on any speed. I know it has nothing to do with temperature now because it happened a few times last August. I have tried turning the jeep on and off a few times and have had no change. After maybe a few minutes in drive it sometimes will kick back on and then be fine again. Could this be the blower getting ready to take a dive? Anyone have this issue before or any suggestions to what this could be?

Thanks in advance

Does it blow air with the ac off, or with the heat on?

It doesn't blow anything. I tried turning the heater, the defroster and just the fan on and nothing at all.

Did you check for a blown fuse?

he said last time it happened it would eventually kick back in.....fuse might be dirty?.....just needs a gentle push pack in? maybe it is the fan switch?

Sounds like the fan or the switch. Check to see if the fan is getting 12V.

The fan has officially crapped out on me. It has been intermittent for the last year or so but now won't come back on. I am going to order a new motor blower and hopefully that takes care of the issue.

when its not working can you still get your A/C light and Recirc light to illuminate on the dash?

if its a Newer. (2011 +) JK.. theres a known issue with some of the control heads for the HVAC that fail.. if your Jeep has the power convenience package your rear defrost button will flash constantly...

if you dont have that package the symptom is that the A/C light and Recirc light wont light up when the buttons are pressed.

on a 2010 or older this doesnt apply.
