I bought my '08 JKU last year and it has what I believe to be a 4" lift on it. (I have no info on the lift itself but the trackbar drop bracket measures 4" from stock to adjusted location bolt to bolt) so that's what im going with.

The front springs seem really compressed, the jeep sits level and I have about 5" until my bumpstop. Since I don't have the stock height as comparison I cant figure whats what.

Im guessing my lift is ProComp judging by the shocks, and i'll flex her out tomorrow and see if my springs fully compress before they hit the bumpstop.

heres a couple crappy phone pics, tell me what you guys think im just curious because normally overcompressed springs don't do so well in the long term.

The coils look pretty compressed IMO.

Here is a diagram that'll help you figure out what size lift you may have.

So as it sits, using the diagram as a guide in sitting at 4" of lift and as you can see my spring is way overcompressed when flexed. My bumpstop is about .25 inch away from touching.

Thanks again for the diagram, i'll have to live with this for now and wheel as is. Any reccomendations on font springs from you guys? Its my DD but its also my rock crawler build.

The diagram will give you a ballpark idea, but each of the different model JKs has a different height specification.

Dude, I'm running a 4" Pro Comp lift (it was on the Jeep when I bought it) and my front springs are the EXACT same way. I've been curious why it's felt so shitty going over railroad tracks and suck. My driver spring is actually rubbing on my sway bar joint.

I'm curious what springs would be better?

Both of you need to pop for some new springs. Those are going to ride like hell and you will get nothing offroad. Many options for springs. Evo plush ride, RK triple rate or my fav, the MC dual rate coils.
