ARB Deluxe Bumper Light Problem
I bought the ARB Deluxe Front Bumper with the indicator lights built in. 2 years after install, both lights have corroded to the point where they don't work. The lights do not hold out typical water from driving (they've never been under water) and the sockets corroded. Apparently ARB is aware of this because you can buy replacement lights. I am really disappointed to have to replace them at all let alone so soon. If Chrysler can figure out how to make lights work, I would think ARB could figure this out as well.
I'm really disappointed to have the issue and it's something to consider when looking at their products. If anyone else has had this issue and figured out a better way to replace them other than buying the part from ARB, let me know.

Same problem here, fist the left side went out I tried replacing the bulb with no success. Then the right side went out. I'm either going to re-order two new housings and use a sealer to make sure no water gets in or put in some flush mount rigid LEDs.
Exactly. My passenger side went first. I thought it was the bulb bulb but saw the corrosion when I opened it up.
Is there a higher quality bulb socket? Seems like if they used junk before, replacing it with the same junk isn't going to help. The $35 part isn't the worst part. I just don't want to do it again.
I thought ARB was supposed to be the good stuff.

Yes, the warranty is 1 year. No, grease won't solve the problem. ARB does not have a fix but seem to be aware of the issue. I have asked for the part to be covered despite the fact it's outside the warranty period.
