is this my vibration culprit?
most of this week ive had a slight vibration coming from somewhere. ive had this once before and turns out my ubolts were going bad on the front driver. after taking a peek I couldn't find anything wrong. of course, I haven't jacked it up and shook the tires yet either to check the ubolts. but while I was down there I saw that my spring was slightly unseated. could this be whats causing the vibration? if this has happened to anyone before id love to hear about it!!!

if this is the culprit, how can I reseat using basic tools? unfortunately, no garage and don't have too much in terms of proper tools for suspension componants. basic tool kit. bottle jack. basic 120 piece socket set. hammers and shit.

never happened to me but I think that's common if you don't have the right combonation spring and shock set up with the right size bumpstops
but im sure youl get the answer shortly from another I think its easy fix just lift it up and get that spring seated correctly in its groove id follow the teraflex video basicly and how to add spacer it should explain the procedure to get the tention off the spring like lower shock bolt removal , lower axle ,and stuff I think you flexed a little to much zigged when you shoulda zagged

Do you mean with the tire off the ground there is movement when you push in and out on the tire just with hand pressure? If so then its a bad unit bearing and that will definitely give you a vibration.
Yeah. I'm going to do it again tomorrow with a buddy along with a few other things to make sure everything gets pinpointed

prob the ball joint ! upper and lower that would give him a lot of shake in the tire by hand too
good luck let us know how it goes ! ball joints suck ! but axle joints and the whole dame front end seems to lol from the weak axles to the steering box its all junk it sounds if you read up on threads yould spend 3000.00 just to take it off road and not have to worry
they claim the dana 30s and 44 are weak , the ball joints the track bars , sleeves and gussets steering stabilizers the list goes on and yould be broke if you did all this work just to go for a ride down a trail lol and break it again
ill have to trust that the dana 44 will carry my heavy 31 3/4 inch nittos trail grapplers at 87 lbs each

If you can get movement in the bj by simply shaking the tire then they are really really bad. Normally you would have to pry up under the tire with something to get movement in the bj. If your unit bearing is gone you can shake the tire very easily. I would lean on the unit bearing being the culprit imo.
