Default 2.5 RK lift kit

Ordering my 2.5 RK Max Travel kit this weekend from northridge 4x4. Any tips or pointers would be much appreciated. This will be my first build on my 09 auto

Nothing really. I usually just add the item to my cart and check out. Well, you should make sure your billing address matches your shipping address. Sometimes that can be an issue!

You are referring to the install, correct?

Up in the write-ups area, click the index, and you will find a suspension section with a bunch of how-to's. Most will include pics for the various steps. Doesn't matter if it is for your exact lift, they will pretty much all use the same general steps. Jack up, remove tire, remove bolts and components, replace components - but don't torque bolts yet, move to next corner, etc. If you have a component that isn't in the writeup you are looking at, just find another one that has that component.

If/when you get stuck, post a quick question. There are enough people on here that you won't be waiting long for several replies with a few different approaches to get you going again.

I was curious myself to see the results of this and here is what I ended up with.

So I click on the suspension link highlighted

I get this error..

And a search for Rock Krawler 2.5 or RK 2.5 net's a blank page.

So who blames a person for starting a new q/a page when features on this site never work. And the regular search returns basically every thread on this site.

The Index links have been broken for a while, just scroll down through the sections. There are only 2 pages total.

One tip that helped me, when replacing the front track bar don't fight trying to get the axle centered just put tires back on drop jeep to ground and jump around on the front bumper the axle will recenter itself and u can then put the trackbar on, everything else is pretty simple. Goodluck

It is a programer to set the new tire size so your speedo stays correct. Plus it has some other nifty features.

Programmers - AEV ProCal, Superchips FlashCal
Tuners - Superchips Flashpaq, Diablosport inTune, etc etc

Do more research to see which, if any, is right for you.
