Rock krawler 2.5" max travel system
I'm looking at this rock krawler lift for my jeep I'm just wondering what people think of this lift if they have it or what have they heard about it also I would like to know what shocks everyone recommends for this lift?
They have a great marketing team.
Do you have any specific questions or concerns for asking peoples opnions on the lift? Or are you just looking for people to tell you how great it is justify your purchase?

I've heard it cures world hunger and rides like a cadillac. Everyone is going to recommend every brand on the market for shocks. You should consider what you value, how you'd like it to feel, and then browse threads related to shocks.
You could also look for other RK 2.5" threads since there are a ton of them....you'll find more opinions then you'll know what to do with.

I want to know if there are bad things about this lift or better lifts to consider for the money. Also when they say they are easily upgradeable what do they mean? Can I buy parts of the next kit up and keep most of the peers I already have?
Most people seem to be happy with their RK lifts including myself. Yes when they say easily upgradable it just means you could add other parts down the road but you can say that for any manufacturer. It's just a marketing term.

This kit can be upgraded however if you plan on eventually replacing all of the control arms this is not the one to start with. The rear lower control arms that are included in this kit are made to work with the factory upper control arms. If you eventually decided you wanted to install the RK upper control arms you would need to also replace these lowers again. The RK upper control arms are longer and they also have a longer version of the rear lower control arms. The reason you want longer arms is because it will allow you to recenter the wheel in the wheel well opening. Depending on your Jeeps year and the size tire you want to run depends if that would be beneficial to you or not. If you do not recenter the rear wheels you will likely need to trim your pinch seem to clear the tire.
The shocks you choose to run depends on your budget and what you are looking to get out of them. The Bilstien 5100 are pretty popular, they have a reasonable price point and have a decent ride. We have other options for you as well.
PM us if you have any additional questions or if you would like pricing on this kit.
This kit is fairly complete however it is not the most complete kit you can purchase. It includes all of the lower control arms which are good to have. The front lower control arms will allow you to adjust your caster. This helps a lot with the on road mannerisms. The rear lower control arms will allow you to slightly adjust your pinion angle, although the upper control arms would be the better way to adjust your pinion angle. The reason RK starts with the lower control arms in the kits is because they are more prone to getting hit by rocks. The factory lower control arms are weak and bend fairly easily.

I would like to see Rock Krawler comment on that information. Since you can buy the lower arms separately which only have a single SKU, which ones are you getting? I believe the MID arm system is all the same whether you buy it in a kit or separate. You can easily add the other arms in after. They are all adjustable arms...they're not fixed lengths... Im currently installing a 2.5" X-Factor and before i had a 3.5" flex on my TJ that i added the uppers arms in after the fact and it was just fine!
