I'm curious if anyone has modded the rear bumper and in which ways. Looking for anything big or small. Just looking for ideas before I go off and buy a rear bumper.

 

Probably not the answer you want but works for me, filled the 4 drain holes and installed fill bung and pickup tube and turned a stock bumper into a 7.5 gallon water storage. Wouldn't drink it but great for washing hands dishes or shower when coupled w/ RV pump.

Im also curious. Mine has some damage on the right side and needs to be replaced or reworked but I dont have any good ideas. Id like to figure something out until i can save for a nice one

 

Did you just plastic weld it together? I was looking for a little modding to the center section too. I have a friend that can build and make anything, so I may give him a challenge

I've thought about this too - prob won't as I think I am going to pull the trigger on a new one but my thought was to work from the center, measure out x amount on each side that would make the sides flush then you have 1 "weld". That said, I thought that strength of the bumper would be severely comprised that way, but working from the center might be an option too. Great job btw on that bumper, looks awesome.
