Default Faux Wildboar fast back

Has anyone tried to duplicate (replicate) the new Wildboar fast back hard top? I have seen them advertised and, call me crazy, they're a bit pricy for what they are. Has anyone tried to fabricate that fastback look using the stock JK hard top? If you have please let me know how you made out. I'd give it a try but I have a million questions regarding the windows, the fiberglass patching compound, fitment, etc......

If you've given it a try and you're happy with the result ....Please share your pictures.

Thanks....Ray6782

I love the look of the Wild Boar Fast Back Hard Top as well but they sure are pricey. I guess they can set whatever price they want because they have no competition in the market. If you do decide to go with one, I can get you a few hundred dollars off.

If you were going to make your own, I imagine the most difficult part would be the side windows. You should be able to use the whole back section and remove a portion from the window area. If you're good with fiberglass I'm sure you could make it seamless. I'm also curious to see if anyone has done this.
