I just bought them on Tuesday and installed them yesterday. They look great and are very bright. I noticed that they "flicker" when the vehicle is running and the lights are off. I called Rigid and they told me to add a relay or a resistor and it should fix it. I will be doing that this weekend. Overall, I love the lights.

Inspired engineering makes some, they looks great as well. just very pricey... similar to D2s, and JW fogs pricing.

pricing is not even close to JW speaker fogs. The inspired engineering are about half the price of JW's. Have the inspired for 6 months in my 10a and work great. No issues or CANBUS either and are also plug n play into factory wiring. I paid $179 for both with mounting brackets and have a lifetime warranty Click image for larger version

Are theses DOT approved? I want to upgrade also but don't want to have to turn them off every time a car goes by.

well... inspired is about $210-220ish ? JW fogs around $250-260ish? $30 or $40 bucks more ? not that big of a price difference.

The JWs have a cut-off and they're almost as bright as the headlights. You can leave them on because they're aimed correctly. One of the best upgrades I've done is swapping out the headlights/fogs for JW Speaker.

Don't get flashed? Haha. You need one of those stickers on the back that says,"show me your @&@'s". That will get you a few more flashes. Hah. Just kidding.

The biggest improvement is upgrading the lights. The second biggest is properly aiming them. Most people do not take the time to properly aim the lights. And even a decent improvement can be had from the factor lights with better aiming.

Get the Inspired Engineering fog light kit, you can choose either 4 or 6 LED configuration and they're always running a 10% coupon which knocks it down in price a little bit.

No resistors or anything needed, just plug and play. Their customer service is also top notch, Sami (owner) will always assist you with any problems you have.
