Default Need advice!! Is it ok to mount the spare tire not flush with carrier?

Guys, Just installed my AEV mw3 rear bumper and my spare tire 315 70 r17 does not fit.

I have TF HD hinge carrier and my 315-70r17 spare tire used to fit just snug with the scoop in the stock rear bumper. (Looks the AEV bumper sits slightly higher than the stock).

Anyway I mounted the spare tire slightly tipped ( top two attachments sits flush with the carrier but bottom attachment has about 8mm gap. I tightened all 3 lugs and my tire sits crooked now.

Question is... Can I run this setup for at least a week or so till I get my TF adjustable bracket? Is it gonna creat any damage? Will it break the studs? Or Should I just remove the spare till I get my adjustable bracket?
Please advice.
Thanks.

Probably will be OK, but as an a side, I just mounted the same combo (315/70/17, TF adjustable bracket on TF hinge and AEV bumper) today and can tell you it mounts up very nicely. Use the middle set of holes for the studs on the bracket. One piece of advice I would give is to get the Daystar adjustable bumpstops as the factory one on the drivers side is too long. Take and trim it down to the indentation closest to the end that screws into the tailgate as that makes it about the same thickness as the TF hinge. That way it will pull nice and snug up against the hinge and the bump stop and be nice and rattle free.

Got the TF adjustable mtg Brkt kit and spare tire is back on. ....but I didn't like the 3rd brake light bracket set up. It does not fit flat due to my wheel design. I am gonna have to fab up a custom bracket.
Thanks for the advise JWilson!!

Some how I didn't like the 3rd brake light Brkt. It doesn't fit flush due to my wheel design. Looks like need to fab up Brkt.

Just make some extended bumpstops out of 1" Hose till you get your set up, this will keep everything tight and rattle free.

I, like you wasn't sold on the TF third brake light setup. I just went down to the local truck shop, picked up some lights and used the open lug hole for brake lights. I think Offroad Elements has the same type of setup for a good price also. Just an option.
