Default Gobi Stealth rack INSTALLED hight measurements

I need help from all the good folks on this site. I want to buy me a Gobi stealth rack for my '09 JKU Rubi. What I need to know is once installed what is the total hight from top of roof to top of rack?

I have a 7' garage door and currently running 18" wheels with 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers with a 2.5" RC Budget Boost. From the roof of the Jeep to the door is 7.5". Installed is this rack higher than that? Hate to buy it and install it only to find out I have to take it all apart to put it in the garage.

Thanks for any info. Also if you have picks of one on a 4 door, those are appreciated and welcomed too.

Gobi says it adds 7.1" and they are spot on. I have a 7ft door as well, 35" Toyos and a 3" lift. I can fit, but my rack will brush the rubber seal/flap on the door frame. I think you'll be fine.

I did measure mine real quick and at the center of the windshield frame, right where the rubber is from the soft and hard top, I got 7 1/4" max. I added a little to that to be safe.

I have a 2.5" lift and 35's with a Gobi stealth rack, and I'm in Conroe a lot. Send me pm if you want to get measurements off my jeep.

3.5" lift and I have to take off the hi-lift to enter a garage. I measure 6'9"-ish highest point on the rack itself to the ground.

When I'm loaded up I can just barely get in and out with hilift attached. Actual mounted height of my tires was around 32.1~32.2"

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

I run a hardtop in the winter and a Bestop Trektop NX in the summer. I really like the idea of the Gobi Stealth Rack but my question is, can you change tops easily with the Gobi rack installed?

It's not too much work. You can tip the Gobi back and remove hard top, but I found it easier to remove two bolts at pivot point and remove rack, then pull off hard top.
