Default Evo plush ride or rk triple rates?

I'm curious as to which spring would ride better? Anyone have any first hand experience? I have the evos now. Just wondering if it's worth selling the evos and getting the rk triple rates.

I take with northridge about this and a few of them agreed the evo would be a softer ride but they will settle more under weight. Triple's will probably hold weight better. RK's will probably flex more too.

Incredibly subjective question. Shocks, vehicle weight, 2 door vs. 4 door, caster, etc., will all create very different rides. The EVO coils are about as plush a ride as you will get. Beyond that, you need adjustable shocks, or custom valved shocks.

Yeah I figured they would be the softest and for now they are holding the weight I need them too. I have talked with fox about custom calving my shocks to pair with the springs, but Evo doesn't give any specs on them. It's kinda hard to dial them in if you don't know where to start! I guess I'll have to sell these and go with kings offered by Evo. Wait, isn't that what they want you to do? Hmmmm

I get what your saying a incomplete or sloppy setup can make any spring ride terrible or incorrectly.

Most people have had great luck with the adjustable Ranchos. For the price and current rebate, that's a great place to start. They adjust to softer than you would want.

Kings are badass but hella expensive. I really like my fox 2.0's and for the price they ride pretty damn good. Got the BDS tuned units and they say they ride a little softer than the standard jk 2.0's. But if you can swing a set of kings, give'r

I have the Evo's on my two door with king 2.5 reservoirs, def a great ride but, I got talked into the 4" plush rides and they are too tall. I'm considering the 3" now.

If either of you want to get rid of your evo 4" plush coils pm me. I have been wanting a set just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Coils don't determine flex? If your referring to the coils falling out under "flex" you'd also be wrong as i believe the evo coils are longer than the rock krawler.
