Default Roof rack dilemma...

I have a soft top on my 4dr JK with Smitty XRC fenders/corners/bumpers. I am looking for a roof rack that can clear the gas cap/tail light areas on the rear corners. I've been browsing around the forum and haven't found any pics with any rack on this set up. I was leaning towards the Warrior Renegade rack but didn't want to pull the trigger yet. Emailed Smittybilt and Warrior asking if it would fit, but no reply (going on two weeks from both). Any help or suggestions? Thanks guys!

I'm not sure about those two but check out the Garvin Wilderness and Adventure racks. I'm about to buy the Adventure Rack myself.

An arm and a leg, instead of both.

I searched a lot of different roof racks in the last few months. I ordered a Gobi Stealth rack due to no drilling on my body and just all around toughness. I paid a nice chunk of change but it will be worth it by far! I got a GREAT price from NorthRidge 4x4 and still gettin' the free ladder. I figured if I got a rack I really didn't want, I would kick myself in the buttocks every time I thought about it, so Gobi it is! Done! Fini'! You won't be sorry if you safe a few more pennies bro!

I have the Garvin Adventure rack on my 2dr JK and love it. It clears the gas cap and does not require any drilling. The rear brackets mount to the frame under the tail lights. There are factory drilled holes inside the tail light mount. The rack is hinged on the rear brackets so you can swing it back to change between hard/soft top. It's very easy to install also.

Does it require any bumper modding?

Negative. I installed mine with the stock bumper, the rear brackets fit between the gap of the rear bumper and body of the jeep. Should be no issue with an after-market bumper.

What basket do you have on top of this rack? I like it way more compared to the normal Garvin Adventure Basket.

Thank you
