Default Question about front coil overs and swaybar

Hello. Just wanted to get some feed back on how the road characteristics of a 2 door jk with coil overs will be without a front swaybar. Just tossing some ideas around.
Thanks

It depends on your set up. What are you planning?

12" king 2.0 coil overs in the front with custom mounts with about 3.5" lift height. Hydro bumps. The rear will still be the rock krawler 3.5" X factor setup. I'm also running rock krawler mid arm control arms and synergy high steer

Factory width axles? Tire size? Are you looking at rock krawling valving or go fast? Compression adjusters or internal bypass options?

factory width axles with nitto 37's on atx slabs. With compression adjusters. I'm looking for crawling and Go fast.

Go fast and crawling are two differnt valving. Typically you will see less body roll with the go fast set up as the coils are generally higher compression rates as well as the shocks. With crawling set ups you will have more body roll due to the softer coils and compression rates without a sway bar. The slabs and 37's will help keep the jeep planted a bit better due to the extra width and weight so you won't feel as top heavy and tippy as in a stock width. I don't run any sway bars right now but will be adding a rear sometime. I am use to the drive feel but I do get lots of body roll but I am set up more for rock crawling and run very soft coils with 14" travel front 3 link long arm and 16" travel rear on a double trianuglated 4 link ling arm. 40's, tons and come in at 86" wide and stretched to 109"

How did you determine the coil rate? pull it out of the air?

haha. Pretty much. No. Talked to king about it and some other peeps with similar set ups. I know I will need some tuning and possible spring rate change. But was told this is a good starting point. Does it sound completely wrong to you?

It will typically depend on the desired ride height and weight of your jeep minus the axles and tires. For go fast I would think you would want a bigger secondary rate coil. I was just curious on how you cam up with the rates.
I would assume you are running a raised rear track bar bracket on the axle to help with roll center as well.
