I stopped by a 4 wheel part store a couple weeks ago, and asked about the gen 2 winches... they didn't know anything about them, and until he searched his site had never even seen any. He didn't have a eta for a ship date, but wanted me to put a deposit down on one. I'd like to see one in person before I spend money on it.

Yeah they looked like they've been beefed up. Just want to know if they're worth a shot or not.

Its a good price for a IP68 sealed winch as long as its reliable.
