Default Feedback Requested - Free Services At Jeep Jamboree Good or Bad Idea

I've spoken to the Jeep Jamboree folks about our company participating to some degree as a local sponsor at the Jeep Jamboree in Hot Springs in October. Besides the usual gasoling gift cards, door prizes and goody/survival bags we give away at other events, I thought we might set up a tent to do things like recalibrate speedometers for those Jeepers that've thrown on bigger tires and/or gone with aftermarket axles, reset the TPMS sensor warning for those that are running tire pressures below the set OEM minimum. Also thought about having a SWR meter on hand to tune CB antennas. I'm a little hesitant of that since we'd need a large unobstructed area, and we could run into all sorts of radio performance issues unrelated to the antenna. Of course, all of this would be free for the asking. My thinking was that many Jeep owners don't spend the money for a programmer or SWR meter to use it just one time. By doing this we'd be helping fellow Jeepers save a little money, which fits our company's business model.

Do you guys and gals think it'd be worth the time to do this, or do you think that most folks who haven't already addressed these issues are just not concerned enough to do anything about it?

If we do decide to move forward, what programmer would cover the most Jeep years/models and perform the most additional functions like turning on daytime running lights, turning on headlight delay and adjusting idle speed for you winchers? The Superchip FlashCal appears to do a lot of things, but only covers 2007 to 2014 JKs. Are there other programmer options out there that cover our non JK brethren? So much to learn in so little time. Lots of guys and gals here at work drive Jeeps, so we have lots of test subjects to practice on before the Jamboree. Of course, one dirty look from the guys in Legal and we're done before we ever get started.

I don't know, maybe other vendor/sponsers already provide similar services at Jamborees? Tried to call the Jeep Jamboree folks but they must all be down in Louisiana this week.

Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum. Just didn't seem to be one that fit, and this is related to mods.

All feedback is appreciated.

What programmer do you plan to use on multiple vehicles? They lock to VIN.

what is your company?

Edit because you need this info I guess. You can only use these programmers on one vehicle. Otherwise companies like Superchips would spend thousands and make hundreds. You're basically talking about trying to sell pirated software (analogy).

That's all the JKs there are. And you're on a jk forum.

Don't do it. These companies aren't some huge Fortune 500 company, they need their hard earned dollars. Some of them may even be sponsors here.

Thanks guys, I'm glad I asked. Didn't realize that's how they worked. Don't want to cheat anyone or do something sleazy. Looks like we'll just stick to give aways as usual.
