Ive had three cars already. And my dream car was a jeep. Finally get it 4 months ago and bam this happens.







Side step gone and just a little damage on the driver door. This is the other guys car.












This jeep is built like a tank. I wasnt hurt. Minus a side step and little damage under the driver door. If i was driving my old honda civic. Or my vw jetta ive had before. Forget about it. Im still a little shaken up and really pissed off for it being my first car accident which had to involve my jeep. But being in that jeep, i dont wanna say, saved my life, but it definitly protected me

 

Glad you weren't hurt, how'd the other driver fair? And the real question...who's fault?

 

Based on my professional observations and the photos. Looks like the jeep didn't have a stop sign and the car ran theirs

 

Actually the other way around. I (the jeep) had the stop sign. The other driver did not. I looked. Noone. Pulled out a little. Boom. The driver was going 51 in a 25.

 

Aaa yes. After closer examination of the photo, I do see the stop sign under the one way sign. I guess I was just siding with the jeep. Lol

How was it concluded that the other car was going 51?

 

They really just did you a favor. Now you get to install some rock sliders. They did the boring part by ripping off the old step.

 

The guy was arguing he was only going 22 miles an hr. Yes 22. Not 25 the speed limit. Idk why he didnt say 25. But anyway. The cop looked and said. Sir. I can tell just by looking at your car you were going atleast over 40. At 22mph like you claim your car should not have beeb totaled. Which it was. He couldnt even drive it. Anyway cop stuck his head in the car and said the orange stick was frozen on 51mph which happens as a result of the impact.

Whether thats true or not. I have no idea.

Glad you're ok. He would had really been salty had you had some body armor and rock rails sitting on that jeep instead.

Maybe you'll get enough money to fix it and get some mods though.
