Default Going from 5.5 in to 4 inch lift need advice

Ok, I'm currently running RK 5.5 inch lift, I'm gonna lower it to a 4" lift. I know I will prob have to get shorter sway bar links and shocks. I know I will have to re-set my caster on the front. But on the rear will I need to adjust my control arms? I know how and what rides best on the front but have no idea what to go by in the rear. Pinion angle or what??

You will want to adjust the pinion angle on the rear.

I know I will need to adj the rear pinion angle, just don't know to what angle. I know the front needs to be as close to 90 degrees as possible but unsure if the rear is the same.
Bc when I installed my rear coils to see how they fit my rear shocks were fully collapsed, I mean mashed ALL the way in

Point the pinion at the transfer case.

gotcha. I am assuming the shocks were bottoming out and acting as the bumpstop in the last setup then?

Exactly. I know I will have to make adjustments but didn't know if I needed to look for 90 degree pinion angle or what

yeah sounds like you will have a few things to fix from that old kit. But dirt covered the rear pinion for you. I always put an angle finder on the bottom of the diff (flat part) and then on the driveshaft and try to get them at the same angle.

I have no vibes or issues with the 5.5 RK, I will put my angle finder on it to see what it's at now and try to stay or get as close to the same angle ( pinion, drive shaft) after I install and get shorter shocks.
