Default After Lift and 35's---What Jack to Change Flat?

MOire than likely, my stock jack will not lift my JK high enough to change a flat after my 2.5 RK Flex and 35's.
DO you guys carry blocks of wood, or do you have a different jack? I know I can get a high lift jack.

Amazon sells a jack base that works perfectly with the stock jack. It also fits nearly I'm the rear storage area.

Both. I wouldn't change a tire by use of a high lift unless I had to. I strongly prefer the vehicle supported on the axle. Hi lift for recovery or odd scenarios, block of wood for factory jack.

I would never use a Hi Lift for changing tires unless it was an emergency. I can have my 35" tire completely off after lifting the axle with my factory jack before I could have it off the ground enough with my Hi-Lift. I place my factory jack under the control arm or shock mounting points.

Just get one of those plastic Hi Lift jack bases. Works perfect on any surface and stores nicely in the jeep.

Exactly. I have no issues with my factory jack and no block or stand.

I have one of these orange things:

AEV Conversions 40306002AA - AEV Jack Base for 07-14 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

I could have used a block of 4x4 but this thing fits in the storage area, holds my Gorilla lug key, and doesn't give me splinters.

NEVER us a HI-Lift to change a tire UNLESS you have no other choice. The Hi-Lift is not a safe jack for changing tires. It is meant to be a recovery tool only.

Change you tire on a hard, flat, level surface using a scissors or bottle jack under your axel.

Overpriced though as with a lot of AEV stuff. $30 is a better price point
