Lift Questions
Hey guys,
I have a 2011 Jeep Jk 2 door and I'm planning on lifting it. I am on a budget so I plan on getting the best bang for my buck. I really want to do atleast a 3" lift and have the front sit level with the back if not sit a little higher. I have been looking at the Rough Country 3.5" and 3.75" lift. I really don't want more than a 1" body lift. Please let me know what you guys think, I plan on running 35" tires....

if you are starting out on a budget and think you might want to change things up later, I'd look at a lift that is build-able. Rock Krawler, Teraflex, etc. I personally love Metal Cloak. More money, but after 3-4 different set-ups, I'm the most pleased with their springs and control arms. Additionally, don't go for the cheap "quick lift" Save your money and get what you really want opposed to buying on price alone...you'll be happier later!
Start with the two threads stuck to the top of this modified area.
As noted, you don't really need a 3+ inch lift for 35.s On a budget, there is nothing at all wrong with just getting a 2.5" BB (spacer lift). Adding a body lift would work if you want more room in the fender wells, but trimming your flares or going to flats might be a better option. If you are stuck on a tall lift, read all of the posts about losing drive shafts and adding/replacing steering components so you have some idea going into it what you might run into.

What would be my best option for a 2.5" lift with shocks and coils? I got about 400$ to spend...
